Aspitha \a-'spē-(th)ə\ is composed of world-class surgeons and physicians who have trained and taught at Harvard Medical School, the Massachusetts institute of Technology (MIT) and Children's Hospital Boston to name a few. All hold leadership positions in the nation's foremost medical societies like the American College of Surgeons.

We are not simply content matter purveyors, but the originators and creators of it. From NIH-funded researchers to Editors of prestigious medical journals, we bring in-depth knowledge and experience in the science and art of medicine.

Aspitha's true strength comes from combining our medical skills with the field expertise of our partner colleagues who continue to work in their respective careers. By continuing to patrol our streets, serve in our armed forces, work in numerous federal agencies including private protection and commercial organizations, our partners are an inspiration for all of us at Aspitha. In deference to them and all our comrades at home and abroad, we espouse the credo: to protect that which matters most, the lives of those entrusted to us.

Founder & Owner

"Doc" is a double-board certified general surgeon and surgical critical care physician who specializes in trauma and emergency surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and College of Chest Physicians. He is a member of the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma and the State Vice Chair of the Massachusetts Committee on Trauma where he has lead numerous initiatives. He also holds full licensure to practice medicine in multiple U.S. states.

In pursuit of his enjoyment of tactical medicine, Doctor DeBusk provides concierge medical direction to law enforcement, security and executive protection groups. He is a proud member of the Board of Executive Protection Professionals where he provides guidance on requisite medical standards for protection specialists. He indulges his zeal for tactical medicine and special operations with his experience in academic medicine as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Special Operations Medicine.

Doctor DeBusk holds director and instructor certifications in numerous medical education training programs which he has been privileged to provide to a wide-range of entities at home and abroad, including:
